Earnie wins Spartan creative brief

Spartan Race UK has appointed Earnie to build awareness and drive sign ups for upcoming Spartan Race events across the UK.

As part of the brief, Earnie’s in-house production team has already produced a series of videos to tell the story of being part of a Spartan event, to run across social and digital channels.

Sam Young, UK marketing manager at Spartan Race, said: “This is hopefully just the start of our work with Earnie and it has been a great project to help us demonstrate that Spartan Race is a uniquely challenging and rewarding race.

“Our finishers are all-round athletes, strong of mind and body; the videos produced demonstrate the feeling of being in one of our events and captures the essence of what makes them special.”



Alistair Gammell, managing director at Earnie, added: “It’s been great working with Sam and his team to create this first campaign and we believe it will drive a real point of difference in a saturated market. By using a different approach to visual and sound effects, we believe we can create an emotional connection to Spartan.”

Earlier this week, the creative agency also announced it had secured the brief to develop the creative campaign and multiple digital assets for #teamparkrun, a nationwide participation event taking place on Saturday 19th August across the UK.

Earnie also works with a number of rights holders, governing bodies and brands including the NFL, the ICC, the LTA, the Rugby League World Cup 2021, Human Race, PDC and the ECB.
