The 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup will be the fourth instalment of the international tournament, following Australia’s win on Indian soil in 2013. We produced the logo and creative brand identity for the forthcoming tournament, the first time it will be held in England and Wales.
The logo epitomises the connection between the game of cricket and its spiritual home in England and Wales. Although unmistakably feminine, the flowing lines of the logo emphasise the dynamism of the game, transcending gender. The brand identity is versatile and will be seen in multiple variations over the course of the tournament.
